Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting with some of the families of those taken by Hamas on October 7, 2023. Some present had been released like Noa Argamani. Others are desperate for information about their relatives. Are they alive or are they dead?

There are now thought to be 111 hostages in Gaza, including the remains of 39 confirmed dead by the IDF, out of the 251 people abducted during the Hamas onslaught nearly 300 days ago.

It remains time to bring them all home.

O God, whose fatherly care reaches to the ends of the earth: We ask you graciously to behold and bless those we love who are now absent from us especially those held hostage by Hamas in Gaza. Defend them from all dangers of soul and body, and grant that both they and we, drawing nearer to you, may be bound together by your love, in the communion of your Holy Spirit and in the fellowship of your saints, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
